NIH Bows to Wikipedia

Bowing to the inevitable lure of Wikipedia, the NIH is joining the rush to patient-mined medical lore found on the Internet. Washington Post reports that the NIH is encouraging scientists and science writers to create articles in their fields for the online encyclopedia. ITo that end, NIH is joining with the Wikipedia Foundation to host a "Wikipedia Academy," "a training session on the tools and rules of wiki culture." Read more about this meeting of the minds here.
